IP/BIN check

A validation procedure for identifying fraud patterns in online payments at an early stage.

What is an IP/BIN check?

A method for checking fraud patterns in credit card transactions. The IP address is used to find the customer’s current location or Internet access point, while the bank identification number (BIN) identifies the card’s issuing bank and country of origin. This makes it possible to accept or reject certain country combinations identified in this way.
