The Billing and Settlement Plan (BSP) is the world’s most-used system for straightforward processing of airlines’ ticket sales. The International Air Transport Association (IATA) is the umbrella organization for airlines, including both national and international carriers. One of its most important tasks is to streamline ticket sales with the BSP, which eliminates additional transactions between travel agencies and airlines.
