Code for identifying a bank in the context of international transfers.
What is a virtual account number?
A virtual account number enables incoming payments to be allocated automatically to a customer. For example, a customer receives an invoice indicating a 10-digit virtual account number to which the payment should be sent. It consists of a three-digit block that is always the same, plus a variable seven-digit part that can be freely selected by the company. This uniquely identifies the reference and sender. The money received is automatically and quickly transferred from the virtual account to the actual business account.
