1. Who is Wirecard?

Wirecard is a global payments company with over 20 years of expertise in digital financial technology. As the merchant, you create a personal payment link in your Wirecard account. When a customer places an order, you send them the link. Your customer clicks the link and arrives at a secure payment page hosted by Wirecard. The customer pays by credit card (more payment options will be added soon), and the payment is deposited in your account. It’s instant and easy!

Once you register, we will provide more detailed instructions on how to use Pay by Link.

As the payment service provider, we ensure secure digital payments via Pay by Link. So, we need you to open a merchant account with us. When registering, you will be asked to provide company documentation including*:

  • Trade license
  • MoA
  • Government issued ID copy of directors, UBOs, and authorized signatories
  • Bank statements
  • Audited financials
  • Settlement bank account copy
  • Company’s Terms and Conditions

* The merchant may be requested to provide any further documentation that helps determine the necessary compliance checks and financial stability of the establishment.

There is no need for you to register again. Please let your Wirecard sales representative know that you are interested. We will then activate Pay by Link as quickly as possible. As soon as Pay by Link has been enabled, this option will also appear in your Wirecard Enterprise Portal (WEP).
