1. Who is Wirecard?

Wirecard is a global payments company with over 20 years of expertise in digital financial technology. We deliver solutions for making and accepting payments, to over 279,000 clients across a range of industries. We are committed to helping businesses of all sizes weather uncertainty with a range of payment products built for our virtual world.

As the merchant, you create a personal payment link in your Wirecard account. When a customer places an order, you send them the link. Your customer clicks the link and arrives at a secure payment page hosted by Wirecard. The customer pays by credit card (more payment options will be added soon), and the payment is deposited in your account. It’s instant and easy!

Once you register, we will provide more detailed instructions on how to use Pay by Link.

As the payment service provider, we ensure secure digital payments via Pay by Link. So, we need you to open a merchant account with us. When registering, you will be asked to provide digital copies of the following documents, at a minimum:

  • CIPRO registration documentation
  • Identity documents
  • Business plan
  • Business or personal bank statements for six months

There is no need for you to register again. Pay by Link is enabled by default and will appear in your Merchant Console.
