The Head of Acquiring, Sales and Key Account management will focus on driving new revenues by working with existing and developing new client relationships. The ideal candidate will be a true and pure sales leader with proven results leading a team in a competitive market.


  • Manage, lead, and develop the account management and sales functions for Wirecard in India.
  • Understand and effectively explain the benefits of electronic payment solutions, and the associated business impact for customer stakeholders
  • Lead all aspects of the sales process, while enlisting the support of product specialists, implementation, service, and other sales and management resources as needed
  • Accountable for quarterly and yearly sales target and responsible to realize them.
  • Develop and manage sales budgets, and oversee the development and management of internal operating budgets
  • Build strong relationships with prospects, while handling objections, advancing and closing new opportunities
  • Partner with Marketing in the creation and delivery of compelling presentations and client artifacts
  • Understand the competitive landscape relative to customer needs, so you can effectively position Wirecard solutions
  • Maintain accurate and timely customer, pipeline, and forecast data
  • Build account business plans as necessary to target the right people and clearly establish objectives and strategies to penetrate and develop the market
  • Lead the sales performance management and cadence reviews
  • Work closely with product development team to propose and develop new initiatives and product enhancements so clients can quickly achieve their objectives
  • Lead the Sales and Key Account Management department: recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate departmental staff
  • Work with management team to develop long-term business plans for Wirecard India

Requirements

  • 10+ years’ experience in a consultative B2B sales environment with a preference selling fintech solutions
  • Bachelors or Masters degree required, MBA preferred
  • Prior experience in technology and services, preferably in Fintech, Payments, or Consulting
  • Proven ability in managing complex sales cycles from start to finish with a track record of successful revenue attainment
  • Effective problem-solving skills, specifically the ability to assess situations, evaluate options and define strategies
  • Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills
  • A team-oriented approach with an ability to form relationships at various levels both internally and externally
  • Familiarity with consultative selling methodologies
  • Experience managing direct reports, with proven motivational and leadership abilities
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution
  • Knowledge of structuring sales targets and revenue expectations
