Solutions Consultant

  • Define technical specifications for POS terminals and readers and the project scope (in workshops or other settings)
  • Responsible for preparing technical and business concepts on how to satisfy the customer's business needs using Wirecard products and solutions
  • Responsible for definition of optimal customized solutions and technical implementation strategy through consulting services
  • Responsible for understanding and identifying client's needs, processes and technical landscape
  • Responsible for advising and cooperating with various stakeholders (e.g., project managers, implementation managers, sales team) throughout a client's entire project life cycle (including pre-sales)
  • Responsible for delivery of fully functioning system in accordance with customer's requirements
  • Support the sales team in the pre-sales phase with product and solution-related customer questions
  • Support sales team with tender and RFI/ RFP processes as well as proposal creation
  • Responsible for dedicated customer projects from pre-sales until launch in close cooperation with the Project Manager assigned including organizing customer workshops
  • Gather requirements, processes and system landscape and document them in Business Requirement Documents
  • Be primary contact for customers for all in-depth product and solution questions in the pre-sales phase of the project
  • Coordinate with external partners for new functionalities/ firmware releases, from time to time


  • Bachelor's degree in business-related field
  • Excellent business process and/or project experience using tools such as Visio, MS Project, and any relational database system
  • Analytical nature with the ability to solve complex business issues
  • Technical aptitude and a high degree of self- motivation to train and achieve CRM application, customizations and installations certifications
  • Excellent business process and best practices experience or aptitude
  • Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to build effective customer relationships
  • Some software development background or experience working for a software company
  • Experience with products such as Payments and CMS.
