(Senior) Account Manager (m/f/x) Division Sales Retail

We are looking for someone to join our team in London (England).

Your tasks

  • Sales and commercial management of assigned accounts (upselling, vendor mapping, RFP/RFI management, ensuring optimum profitability)
  • Mapping organization structure and stakeholders of accounts, and ensuring strong relationships to ensure execution of our strategic plan
  • Professional communication and networking with customers, including advising and setting up projects
  • Responsibility for reaching sales targets and earnings figures, aligned with our strategy and defined account list
  • Keeping up with market development and independent observance of trends, new developments, and events regarding the topic of payment and value-added services in our product portfolio

Your profile

  • Solid commercial experience of negotiating complex commercial agreements
  • Exceptional customer service, highly customer-oriented, and ability to manage conflict and difficult situations
  • High affinity in the areas of Internet/e-commerce and in-store commerce, as well as new digital technologies, POS/omnichannel world, and gift card / voucher / loyalty area
  • Knowledge in the following areas is preferred: UK retail supplier ecosystem, payments industry (especially acquiring and issuing), retail-related technology developments
  • Proactive, communicative, hands-on mentality; motivated and creative spirit
  • Willingness to travel
