Wirecard to process payments for Windows Vista Anytime Upgrade-Shop of Fujitsu Siemens Computer

With immediate effect, Wirecard AG will be responsible for processing all payments associated with the Microsoft Windows Anytime Upgrade (WAU) Shop of Fujitsu Siemens Computers GmbH.

Berlin, Munich/Grasbrunn, March 6, 2007; with immediate effect, Wirecard AG will be responsible for processing all payments associated with the Microsoft Windows Anytime Upgrade (WAU) Shop of Fujitsu Siemens Computers GmbH.

At present, Fujitsu Siemens Computers distributes all consumer PC systems with a pre-installed version of Windows Vista. As part of the Windows Anytime Upgrade (WAU), Fujitsu Siemens enables all computer owners to conveniently buy and install an even more efficient edition of Windows Vista any time while at home or in the office. Prices for the upgrade range from EUR 94.99 to 229.99 per license, depending on the license in question.

The complete settlement of payments relating to the Windows Vista upgrades is handled via the payment platform of Wirecard AG. Wirecard Bank AG is respon-sible for credit card acceptance and in the future for processing direct debit pay-ments. Moreover, for consumers without credit cards, Fujitsu Siemens Com-puters will also support “Wirecard”, the virtual MasterCard from Wirecard Bank AG.
