Wirecard AG announces change on Management Board
Jan Marsalek to succeed Rüdiger Trautmann.
Grasbrunn/Munich, February 2, 2010; Wirecard AG announces change on Management Board. Rüdiger Trautmann, Management Board member for Sales and Marketing since the fall of 2005, has left the company for personal reasons effective as of January 31, 2010. The Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Wirecard AG, Wulf Matthias, expresses his thanks to Mr. Trautmann for his cooperation in recent years.
Following a resolution adopted by the Supervisory Board, Jan Marsalek was appointed his successor as a member of the Management Board as of February 1, 2010. Marsalek has been engaged within the Wirecard Group since the year 2000 and helped to shape its successful corporate development from the very beginning. He was in charge of the entire Technology and Product Development division and, therefore, responsible for a core segment of the Wirecard Group. At the same time, he was active as Managing Director of various subsidiaries. Since the year 2009, he has carried out key executive functions in the Sales division.
