Vtours opts in favor of Wirecard finance platform

München/Grasbrunn, March 11, 2008; Wirecard AG can look back on a successful ITB trade fair presence, not least thanks to its forthcoming cooperative venture with Vtours GmbH. With immediate effect, package tour specialist Vtours GmbH, of Aschaffenburg/ Germany, will gradually migrate the processing of all its payment transactions originating in connection with consumer travel reservations to the Wirecard finance platform. The package of solutions additionally extends to include banking services from Wirecard Bank AG.

Vtours is a tourism operator that supplies online travel portals and travel agency cooperative ventures with package tours, and its partners include roughly 100 Internet portals and 12,000 travel agencies of note. Its range on offer comprises more than 100 travel destinations across the globe, primarily classical package tours including flights, hotel accommodation, transfers, guided travel and security certificates, but also city trips, hotels, air travel as well as selected cruises and special travel programs.
