"CLICK2PAY by yellowworld" enables online payments for the Swiss publisher Ringier

Berlin, Munich / Grasbrunn August 1, 2005. The alternative payment method "CLICK2PAY", developed by Wire Card AG, has proved its flexibility once again. The largest Swiss publishing house, Ringier AG, is now using "CLICK2PAY by yellowworld". The product was adapted for this regional market by yellowworld AG, a subsidiary of the Swiss Post Office, working together with Wire Card. CLICK2PAY, an online payment system for international use, is ideally suited for media companies where, increasingly, content is only available for a fee.

The background: July 13, 2005 Ringier AG, working together with the Swiss Post Office, launched a new way of subscribing to newspapers and magazines. This innovative "Instant subscription" makes it possible for readers to open/close subscriptions to Ringier products via the Internet. The largest and best known publishing house in Switzerland, which for instance publishes the biggest selling daily newspaper "BLICK", is aiming to win new, online-oriented readers.

The flexible options for subscription duration and means of payment for the "Instant subscriptions" are made possible by the use of the "CLICK2PAY by yellowworld“ payment system. The product permits easy and secure payment for digital content, services and products, even for small sums, without always having to enter personal and sensitive payment details.
